Developing my concept further, I chose to stick with a transportable structure which has multiple functions. Narrowing it down to three functions; an Auditorium, Public Forum and Public Screening. The Auditorium would be the heart of the structure, an enclosed space for private productions, which can roughly seat 230 people. The Public Forum is an open space, with a podium level for the guest speaker, and large area for the general public to spread out. Then lastly is the Public Screening, which is another open space, with a three-tiered area provided for seating and standing. Each of these functions all blend together in the one structure, which is able to deconstruct and be transported to a different site. The structure will hold a strong architectural presence within the city, and be known as a contextual landmark in any city it travels to. It will have the same importance of identity as all other iconic structures in Australia.
Each of the layouts are represented in the post above.
