Our final topic for the studio was Distributed. Initially when I think of distributed, it reminded me of the physical aspects of Mobile, however the main difference between the two for me was repetition. Though it can be looked at as a broken/shattered space, with particles repeated, it could also be seen as a strong connected (non-physical) network. Strong connections could come from the virtual world or the patterns created by its repetition. When relating ‘distribution’ to parliament it seems as though it could either hold all the power like a structured communist party, or could be completely hopeless as it is not represented as a large overpowering system/object.
